Mayari (Maya) Crolene received her BA from UCSC in June 2024. She transferred from Santa Barbara City College after receiving her Arts Associate - Transfer to UCSC in Fall 2022. She is a young, aspiring artist who aims to bring the community together and make thoughtful art that brings light and hope into the world. She is knowledgeable and skilled in traditional and digital mediums, including animation, traditional art, painting, photography, photo editing, digital design, and mixed media. She currently works at an art hub/gallery called "Edge on the Square" in San Francisco Chinatown. Before moving to San Francisco, she volunteered at the Digital Research Lab at UCSC, was an Accounts Receivable Intern at Teladoc Health, and worked for the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation painting park murals at the Franklin Neighborhood Center.
